What time do we meet?
Departure times vary depending on the length of your trip and the plan for the day. Prior to your Pensacola Beach charter, you’ll receive confirmation with the exact meeting time, marina location, and final trip details.
What happens if we need to cancel?
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your charter, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the trip may be subject to forfeiture of the deposit.
What if it rains or there's bad weather?
Fishing trips out of Pensacola Beach typically run rain or shine, but safety is always the top priority. If weather conditions are deemed unsafe by the captain, the trip may be rescheduled. If a new date cannot be arranged, a full refund will be issued.
Where do we meet for our charter?
Our boats are docked behind Shaggy’s at:
701 Pensacola Beach Blvd.
Pensacola Beach, FL 32561
Before your trip, we’ll send clear instructions with parking details, dock location, and arrival time.
What can we expect to catch on our charter?

For a full breakdown of what we target throughout the year, please visit our Targeted Species page.
Can we keep the fish we catch?
Yes, you may keep any legal fish within current Florida and Gulf regulations. Size limits, seasons, and bag limits vary throughout the year, and your captain will guide you on what can be retained during your Pensacola Beach charter.
At the end of your trip, your catch will be cleaned and bagged for you. Many local restaurants in the area are also happy to prepare your fresh catch — just ask for recommendations.
Are we allowed to tip the Captain?
Yes, gratuities are always appreciated. If you feel your captain provided an excellent experience, a customary tip is typically 20%+ of the charter price.
Your captain’s day begins long before your charter and ends well after, all to ensure the best experience possible.
Do we need fishing licenses?
No. Your fishing license is covered under the captain’s charter license for the duration of your Pensacola Beach trip. All required permits and licensing are included, so you can simply show up ready to fish.
Can we bring alcohol on a fishing charter?
Yes. We even supply an iced-down cooler to keep your drinks chilly!
We just ask that you drink responsibly and leave the glass containers at home.
